SW DK Exxtra

SW DK Exxtra is our luxe DK yarn. Take our classic SW DK, but make it with exxtra soft 21 micron merino for our softest and squishest DK. This cushy DK weight base made of 4-Ply 100% Superwash Merino is perfect for sweaters, blankets, mittens, and more! Each skein holds approximately 246 Yards (225 Meters).

Each of our yarns is hand dyed with high quality fibers and professional acid dyes in our Rochester, NY studio. Part of the fun of hand dyeing is that each skein is unique. Variations can occur from skein to skein even out of the same dye pan. For projects using more than one skein we recommend alternating skeins.

All of our yarn has been thoroughly washed and rinsed, but we still recommend washing hand dyed items individually, especially the first time.

All of our superwash bases are safe to machine wash and dry, but I prefer hand washing mine in cold water and laying flat to dry.
