Scenester takes sock knitting to another level. This 4-ply fingering weight yarn made of 75% 21.5 micron Superwash Merino and 25% recycled nylon is a lovely soft, fine yarn especially perfect for shawls and sweaters, but you know we love making socks out of it too. Each 100g skein holds approximately 437 Yards (400 Meters)

Each of our yarns is hand dyed with high quality fibers and professional acid dyes in our Rochester, NY studio. Part of the fun of hand dyeing is that each skein is unique. Variations can occur from skein to skein even out of the same dye pan. For projects using more than one skein we recommend alternating skeins.

All of our yarn has been thoroughly washed and rinsed, but we still recommend washing hand dyed items individually, especially the first time.

All of our superwash bases are safe to machine wash and dry, but I prefer hand washing mine in cold water and laying flat to dry.

Each of our photos is checked against our skeins to ensure properly balanced colors that accurately reflect the yarn you are buying. However, monitor displays will vary.
